Want to book a course?
Please call NDORS Lancashire to book your Safe and Considerate Driving Course, see details below.
Who is it for?
If you’ve been involved in a road traffic collision and were driving without due care, attention, or reasonable consideration, the police may offer you the opportunity to attend a one-day course designed to help you drive more safely in the future.
You can only attend this course if you have received a police letter giving you the option to take part.
What will I learn?
The course combines a classroom session with practical on-road driver training, delivered by qualified trainers. You’ll be learning alongside others who have committed similar offences.
During the driving session, you’ll be accompanied by an experienced advanced driving coach in a car provided by us. You may share driving time with another participant; when you’re a passenger, you’ll observe the other driver and the trainer.
You’ll learn how to reduce risks, identify factors that influence your driving, and develop safer habits on the road. You must pass a standard eyesight check, but there are no other tests. A vehicle for the on-road training will be supplied.
Where can I attend?
You can attend the SCD course at Strawberry Fields Digital Hub, Chorley. There will be up to 6 clients and one Trainer.
How much will it cost?
The course costs £165.
